Dodge Journey 2007-2017Change

this is the best cross over I have driven. I drive the highway every day and it gives me the sense of safety that I like. Heats up fast in the winter and cools down fast in the summer. Love my car.

Beautiful looking vehicle but total lemon. Constantly at the garage, yes warranty covers it but making a car payment on a car that is at the garage monthly is extremely stressful. Dealer said I should apply to the lemon law, Dodge did nothing, wouldn't even give me a small credit to apply to another Dodge product to help offset the loss I would take to trade this vehicle. I wasn't looking for much just hoped Dodge would do something for a customer that has purchased 9 vehicles over the past from them. Dealer helped me a bit with the trade so I would stay there customer.

Had this vehicle for 6 months and am very pleased with the fit and finish. The ride is comfortable but I don't like the way it shifts gears sometimes clunky and when it gears down it sometimes flutters through the shift

This car will handle all your long distance needs. The only problem that comes with purchasing this vehicle is that after 40K kilometers you will feel vibration when braking. It won't be the brake pads, but it will be the front rotors. Those can be easily fixed and you might as well get new brake pads too.

The mechanic might tell you that there is nothing wrong, blah blah blah, or he might say something crazy. Just ask him to change the rotors and the brakes.

The reason for the rotors going is because they tend to not be able to take the heat, so they cone a bit. I do not understand why they would put these rotors on, but they do. Get new ones, and you will see the difference. If they try to tell you it is not the rotors, ask to see the brake pads and then show them the cracks in the pad. That is because of the vibration caused due to the coning of the rotor.

Other than that, there are no problems. I am extremely please with the car and I would recommend it to anyone that needs to fit a family inside a larger vehicle.

I love my Dodge Journey. As a mom, I especially appreciate the back doors opening at a 90 degree angle. It's helpful for babies in a car seat

I used to drive for about 2 hours and would stop to stretch and walk around. Now i've driven for over 8 hours in a day and was never uncomfortable. Performance is great and mileage is great.

The Journey is not a horrible vehicle, but the seats are uncomfortable and the ride is jittery. Fuel economy is poor for a vehicle in this class. For the money, this ride has good features: keyless entry, sunroof, heated seats, car starter, bluetooth, 20 inch chrome wheels, plenty of power. There are better choices if you are willing to spend 33% more. Problems with reliability, the ignition and the power steering have both gone already. Luckily it's still under warranty.

We have had our Dodge Journey for about 6 months, and have no complaints. I love the space in the trunk area for groceries an other larger cargo. Fuel economy has been fabulous coming from a Dodge Caravan. We do have an odd can cooler in the dash which seems to be wasted space, but that's the only little off thing. Great car for the family!

I have had many issues with the brakes, the rotors tend to warp around 30,000km, and am in need to get the brakes done again at 60,000, also the tires are already worn down, and not very good in the winter. They made some very important improvements the following year to the location of the touchscreen with the backup camera ,, it was way to low and distracting in the 2010. The fuel economy is 11.5L /100k, and I do mostly highway driving , which I think is terrible.!!!

This car is very reliable for travel. It has superb fuel economy and is a beautiful car. It is the perfect hatchback for a family vacation. Excellent quality and quiet smooth ride. I have the rt with 8.4 screeen with nav . Easy to read and the bluetooth and voice recognition works great. I was surprised how well the navigation syncs with the two screeens when aturn is coming as well as the street view that comes up of major ramps coming . I drove it from Ont to BC already and now have 20k with no issues with the car. However the nav which is software from google maps are not upto date . That is to say they are as upto date as google has. Dodge needs to pressure google to update more frequently with no cost updates.

i like the shape of the journey, however the interior leaves allot to desired. it is a seven passanger vehicle but the back seats have very little leg space even for children. i purchased the four cylinder thinking it would be very economicle however i am verydissipointed it consumes as much gas as my old grand caravan. on highway driving cosumtion is not so bad but in the city it leaves allot to be desired. it does have pretty comfortable seats and lots of leg space in the front with remotes on the steering wheel to change the stations which i like very much so you dont have to take your eyes of the road.. all in all it it is a nice looking crossover comfortable for the driver but notfor second and third row passanger and consumes way more gas than i thought it would!!! tHANKS bRYAN

love the spacious it have and the room leg...easy to handle..love it would recomend for a family or if you have pets,easy to ride,nice car for a long road trip..

We looked for a car that was safe and reliable now that we are new parents and found that the Journey met all our criteria.

This car is really easy to drive. Dodge has worked really hard on the interior detailing of this car. I own 2011 V4, I would suggest to get V6 along with leather trim for little bit more pick up and comfort. Overall...very good car for the price!

Have used this as a primary vehicle for the past 3 years. With close to 100K on it now, there have been no major repairs required other than the standard brakes and rotors. Fuel economy is above average and performance and styling are surprisingly good. I have the V6 engine, I wouldn't recommend a V4 for this car unless you are very concerned about fuel economy and don't plan to tow anything.

This car drives amazing! Comfortable, spacious with lots and lots of upgrades. The navigations system is so good. The bluetooth syncs within seconds of starting the car. The hard drive holds thousands of songs - our teenagers haven't been able to fill it. 6 CD player too. The cooler in the front dash and the 2 in the back seat floor are added bonuses when traveling. Lots of hidden storage in this vehicle. All leather seats, front seats are heated. Upgraded tires. Brand new brakes and tires last month. Well maintained. Original owner.

I haven't have any problems with my car. I definitely love it and will recommend to any one who is looking for a cheaper SUV. Just be wary that it will not seat 7 full grown people as the third row seat is definitely just for kids. Fuel economy is average.

I absolutely love my car. I bought it brand new, and have had very little problems with it. So happy to have bought this journey. The only thing I am not as happy with is the gas ;consumtion, but I am slowly getting used to it, as my previous car was a Sentra

I have had problems with the brakes, factory recall, but has since been fixed. the 4 cyl is a not that good on gas because of the size of the car, the same would be with the power. I wish I would have gone for a 6cyl in this model.

went from a mini van to this, I have 2 kids a wife and a dog. more than enough room for everyone. Can ever pack enough gear and people for a 4 day back country canoe trip with two canoes on the roof. even with the four hour drive still felt rested.

i bought the dodge journey for its reliability and for comfortable ride . the leather seats are sleek. the chrome wheels look really sporty. the back up camera is great for backing up and seeing whats behind you.

The 2009 Dodge Journey (4 cylinder) is a wonderful family vehicle. It is roomy enough to comfortably accomodate a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). The storage space in the trunk and in the three hidden compartments (under the trunk and under the feet of the two rear seats) is more than adequate. Perhaps the best feature is that you get the look and feel of an SUV with the fuel efficiency of a small sedan. In terms of elegance and style, the Dodge Journey looks every bit as good as more expensive models built by competitors. In terms of fuel efficiency, nothing combining the Journey's size and cost efficiency comes close.

The car is used daily as my vehicle for sales. I will drive an estimated 50,000km this year. The car currently has 10,000km and has been performing excellent. Gas mileage is good and the 4 cylinder engine although it does labour somewhat, it still carries the vehicle nicely.

Prior to purchasing our Dodge Journey, my husband and I rented and did test drives on many different makes and models to see which we liked the best!

We were looking for comfort and economy features for short and long trips. The last thing we wanted was to feel uncomfortable on vacation trips where we had many miles to log. We also didn't want to be spending a lot of money on gas, so fuel economy was important.

The Dodge Journey proved to be excellent in every way. The built in Navagation system was a bonus as was the satellite radio. More than anything we felt the comfort of the front seats far exceeded many other makes and models we tried. We were also pleased with the roominess of the back seat for our passengers and the large hatchback area for storing our chairs and picnic accessories for those beautiful lakeside and ocean adventures! The ice chest/storage area under the front seat came in handy for those quick pit stops along the highway!

The Dodge Journey doesn't only exceed our expectations in every way, but we feel it is almost like our home away from home as we explore our city and country!! I highly recommend this car.

Very comfortable. Drives smoothly but eats som gas. For a car this size it isn't bad but if you are upgrading to a croos-over such as Journey from a small car, you will notice a good difference in fuel economy.
Never had any issues at all with the car. So far it's been very reliable.
