1990 Buick Riviera

Trim: Base Luxury
by Riviera-1990 on 06-03-2015
1990 Riviera - the Best of the Best
In addition to various other vehicles we have owned during the past 55 years my wife and I have owned 5 Rivieras. The 1990 is the Best of the Best. Beautiful ride - when we drive to Calgary - I put the car on 'cruise' and it's an effortless drive - virtually non-stop. We fill the tank in Winnipeg and our next fill-up is Moose Jaw. Our next fill-up is Medicine Hat and then unto Calgary. We float all the way and when we arrive in Calgary 13 hours later we are tireless. The front wheel drive is exceptional. We wish we had a 3-car garage because then we'd keep the this beautiful Riviera and use it for our pleasure rides - and experience how a car should ride. None of the new cars can compare with the Riviera for a 'heavenly ride'.

1979 Buick Riviera - floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee
I just drove my Riviera over 250 kms and enjoyed every minute, did not want to shut the car off, could have just kept on driving. It is everything the ad says and more. If you buy this sweet ride it will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make.

1982 Buick Riviera

Trim: Convertible
by Miro2713 on 06-06-2013
Great Looker
1982 Buick Riviera Convertible. This was the first convertible GM made since the Eldorado in 1976. All of them were send to American Sun Roof (ASC) in Lansing Michigan where the top was removed structure strengthened and the final assembly of the top mechanism rear seat and interior was finished. Only 1750 convertibles were made in 1982.

These cars had a lot of interest but did not sell many due to the price tag infringing upon Cadillac territory. However thirty years later you can easily see the result of production with high quality and durability in mind.

1995 Buick Riviera

A Reliable Car
I have had this car for two months and have had no problems. My dad owned it before for three years and never had to have any work done to it. He loved its uniqueness, I guess there isn't many Rivieras around here. Even with the very cold winter we have been experiencing, it has always started for me, even when I have forgotten to plug it in. I have gone through some snow covered roads with this low to the ground car and have had some close calls with getting stuck, but she had powered through them every time. For an 18 yr old car it is still in great shape. The only thing that does not work anymore is the heated seat on the passanger side (driver side works great) and the cruise control (which I never used before anyways). All in all this car has held the test of time and I have been very pleased with it.

The Ol' Riviera
I know she has some years on her, but she is an awesome ride. I bought it back in 93 and has been well maintained and runs like a dream. I would say this is a car anyone would be happy driving.

Who cares about the price of gas when your car looks good?
This car is a great highway vehicle, 5L V8 model. Moonroof, two door, power everything, back seat is as plush as a couch, you and your friends will have fun just cruising around in this! Oh yes, for this model year you won't have to do Drive Clean. ;)

1975 Buick Riviera

by Cevyn_55 on 10-20-2012
What a car
The stylings of the older Riviera are to put it in one word...awesome. There is not any other car on the road that has the look of the Riviera and there never will be another. Love the hide away headlights, the funky rear tail lights and sweeping lines of the entire body. The motor is very reliable but don't expect to go a long, long way as she likes her fuel for sure. Ride is very smooth for a 2 door coupe.
