Volkswagen Jetta 1986-2019Change

The new jetta is a great ride. Lots of air bags for safety which was big for us with a small child. We were only planning on a short lease, but will likely extend it. I recommend Volkswagen to anyone looking!

This car has been the greatest invest my family and I have ever purchased! I am a university student who drives over 250 kms a week, but I use to drive over 900 kms a week, and the amount of money I save on fuel, with my TDI Jetta, pays for any maintenance i have done to the car. I just love it, and it's gonna last me for a long time!!!

this car is pretty quick off the line which i really like and i love the sound of the engine. it has over 300,000 kms on it and it starts up everytime with no problem. the heated seats are a great option to.

Excellent vehicle as a daily driver. Comfortable and quite. Sporty enough with all the features of a four door sedan. 4cyl engine is lacking in power and the automatic transmission is lacking, but you can always buy a trim level up to satisfy your needs.

I love it, best car ever and good price. Easy to drive, good performance, good on gas and great exterior design. I had the 2011 an 2012 model, but the 2013 its so far the best. Volkswagen did an amazing job with this car.

This is a great family car with a bit of style. It holds up well in all weather and is good on gas. The heated seats are a great extra as well as the sun roof.

Had this car for many years. Durable, never breaks down. Made well and comfortable. Love the sun roof on top and keep it open most summer, better than any Air conditioner. Love my car.

I've had this car for almost 6 years and wow what a journey. The car has been fairly reliable but has had issues regularly. Over the years I have spent between 800- 2000 a year in maintenance as I had issues from overheating to sensor problems. Would I recommend? Yes if you are handy and you can do some of the work yourself. No if you need a mechanic to do oil changes, brakes, alternator etc. In my opinion, they balance out when you only use a mechanic a few times. The car is fairly easy to work on too.

I bought a used Jetta TDI and frankly this is the nicest car ive ever owned on all fronts. It looks stylish, handles well in all conditions and is a fuel effiicient lil beast

Lasted me for years! I had this car since I was 16 years old. I drove it on rough roads year round in snowy conditions and it handled great. I paid $2000 for the car in 1995 and drove it for 12 years. I then sold it for $1500. Definitely a good investment. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

I have owned this car since new and have put on just over 30,000 km. So far this has been extremely trouble free driving. The fuel economy and range you get with the TDI (diesel) model is phenomenal. In regular highway driving, the fuel range is approximately 1,000 km. The performance the dielsel gives is also remarkable as it is a very tourquey engine so the acceleration is very good for a car with "only" 140 hp.

insurance is not high and it feels good to drive it.

This car drives so smooth. i enjoyed it very much. Its small and compact which sometimes you need it a car. Perfect for college aged kids.Affordable pricing,A great variety of colours.
Why get this car?
Its reliable and even though it is small on the outside the inside would totally amaze you. Quite roomy for a car that seems so small on the outside. Thats why you can't judge a book by its cover but we are talking cars here.So you can't judge a car by its shell.

I also love the bug cause as a kid i grew up watching the herbie the love bug movies. They were always a treat and i'd say that is what i must have when i grow up.
My younger sister took the giant leap and bought a blue one. I will tell you I was jealous just a bit but glad she made the purchase

I bought it new it had 3.7 km on it when I turn the key for the first time. 180,000+ km later + basic maintenance and aside from a plastic impeller on the water pump(which I still don't understand), it never disappointed me. Drive like a law abiding citizen and it will reward you with great fuel economy and a smooth ride. Lay into the turbo and the economy suffers but you are rewarded with nibble handling and a strong acceleration. I absolutely loved that 1.8T motor!

I would highly recommend this car for the budget conscious person or family. They come in 2 door couple or 4 door sedan as well as hachback. It is excellent for economy, interior class and performance. The diesel engine model has slightly less off the start pickup power than the gasoline engines of the Jetta

It is an older model but it runs like a dream and handles all weather.

The heated seats are perfect for cold winter mornings or ppl with bad backs.

I was not to sure when we first got this car but it has proven over the yrs to be reliable and comfortable.

100 km per 5.4 litres diesel fuel. A very reliable vehicle. I owned a Jetta TDI for 9 years. No problems .
Regular maintainence. Runs smooth and clean.

Requireda larger vehicle to tow a house trailer, otherwise I would keep the VW.

I have owned this car for 3 years and have been driving it everywhere. My kids love it. My wife Loves it. I love it. It has loads of power from its 2.0L Turbo diesel engine. But at the same time it gets 1000km to a tank of fuel. I drove from Edmonton to Kamloops and back on two tanks of fuel! One each way. Just amazing. Also the trunk is huge.

I bought this car brand new and it was great for just my husband and I but now 7 years later and 2 kids we definitely need a bigger car. This car is excellent on fuel! The only thing I hate about this car is the headlights at night, they're not very bright even with brights on. This car is well worth the money especially for the safety features and the huge savings at the pumps.
