I have never had any issues with this car. It has been very dependable and the only work done on it were the scheduled maintenance.

If I could I would have keep it!
That's such a good car, really comfortable driving.
It's pretty low on gas and there is a standard mode available, if you feel courageous or bored while you're stuck in the trafic downtown!

Excellent car, great value for the money, the TDI engine is very economical and reliable, and the styling even after 14 year is still not outdated. people asking still what year and when I tell them it is an 2000 model, they saying whaw!! still looking good for the 2000 model.

This car looks good even 14 years after I bought it. I love the fact that I can use veggie fuel in the summer with no modifications to my engine. There are lots of little tricks that the VW engineers put in this car that even 14 years later new vehicles don't have. Like the red light on the inside of the door panel, so when your door is open at night people can see it. A turn of the key rolls down all 4 windows. A tiny sun visor over the rear view mirror.....etc etc etc. Loved this car, Im having sellers regret....

I have had one of these for 11 years and if I hadn't moved to the country and needed a pickup truck I would still be driving it. The interior is comfortable on long haul travels, steering wheel controls convenient, and the fuel efficiency and reliability unbelievable.

I have only driven it 3 times, but overall great car.

No longer need the car but am happy I chose a Volkswagen, great looking car, great family vehicle.

This is a comfortable, and safety car. The bule colour on this car is looks great. I didn't drive this car too much, and I went to VW dealer for the maintenance.

This is first review I am writing for this car after owning for 3 Years. Overall this is great car if you are looking for Space and some sort of taught handling expected from German cars at lower prise point.

Pros:
• Though not an Audi, but feels and handles like German car.
• Put in Sports mode, and this car is different animal all together.
• Excellent visibility.
• Simple and clean Interior/Dash layout.
• Comfortable seats for long drive.
• Spacious rear room.
• Huge trunk.
• Looks premium car from Side and rear.
• Fairly reliable so far.

Cons:
• Hard plastic is annoying sometimes.
• Infotainment is outdated.
• Front view of the car is like yesterday’s tomorrow.
• Doesn't matter unless you are modifying your car, but not many after-market upgrade options for 2.5l/I5 engine.
• No AC/Heater vents for back seats.

Amazing fuel economy. Nice handling. Great commuter car. Well built car. Reliable. It also has good power for the size of engine. I would highly recommend it.

We bought this car 5 years ago in Vernon, and we've really enjoyed it. It's gotten us back and forth through the mountains to Vancouver and Calgary probably 20 times in all kinds of weather, very reliably.

Very high reliability, acceptable comfort, and stellar quality both in and out. I used this car for six years for work and school, never skipped a beat and never let me down!

This vehicle is fast off the line and it doesn't stop there.
It has 17" Alloys with low profile Michelins for cornering ability.
The vehicle had no modification it's all perfect VW engineering.

It gets great fuel economy and takes regular gas.

Vehicle handles and drives very nicely. Great economical vehicle that handles like a sports car in sport or tiptronic handling mode.

Great stylish 4 doors, comfortable drive for long trip and great for city driving as well. Nothing negative to say about it!
Leather interior and sunroof makes it's luxurious and fun at the same time!

Love it! great on fuel , amazing handling, lots of torque. Brakes are extremely responsive, turbo is great particularly on the highway and fuel economy is still great even when not nursing the accelerator. Lots of handy features, well laid out and easy to use

Very reliable. It has started every time I asked it to during this crazy cold winter we have had.

This was my second Jetta and I loved them both. This car handles great and is a nice car to drive. I'm a long time diesel driver but if your not used to diesel power you'll find it has a lot more torque than any gas job in a similar HP range. And it gets to full torque at a very low RPM compared to a gas as well.

These vehicles are very reliable; My last Jetta had 360K on it and all I ever did (besides regular services and consumables of course) was change the timing belt and a water pump.and it still ran great when I traded it in. Although this car is still like new I'm expecting it to have this same reliability.

The most comfortable car I've ever ridden in. Got it for my back. The heated leather seats are so comfortable it feels as if I'm sitting in my living room when out on the road. Great city car and to travel in. Very smooth.

My 4th volkswagen has been as much of a joy to drive as the previous ones. Never a problem to start in the cold, warms up quickly. Handles beautifully, has the kick when I need it. Huge trunk, plenty of interior space.
