Kia Soul 2011Change

It provides all the basic things needed in a car and is reasonably comfortable. It is relatively roomy both in the front and the back, and I haven't had very many problems with it. The biggest complaint I may have is that the headrests are quite uncomfortable, and are placed too forward. Overall though, it is a good ride.

Our Kia has been very reliable in the 5 years we have had it. It has a basic interior with simple features, but the design works. It is great on gas. The interior is very spacious, lots of space to travel, great vehicle for large dogs to ride around in and it handles like a small vehicle so you don't feel like you're driving a big boat. Overall it has held up very well with heavy daily usage.

Some of the cons which aren't a huge deal- you can hear road noise when driving on highways, the seats get a little uncomfortable during long drives. (4+ hours). An arm rest on the passenger side would be nice. It doesn't have a lot of "oomph" if you need to accelerate quickly.

I've logged just over 350,000 highway kilometers and, aside from routine maintenance, it's cost me 2 ball joints, 2 wheel bearings, one clutch and one battery. Needless to say, this has been one of the best cars I've owned in almost 40 years. Fun and comfortable to drive. I work on my laptop a lot in the car and I enjoy how you sit up in it like my previous Jeep Liberty. Lots of cargo space with either/both back seats down, though it lacks space with the seats up, but I knew that beforehand. I will buy another!

Wow, what a great trouble free car. 5 years later and never a problem, awesome fuel economy, great on road trips, lots of room for extras.
Wife loves this car, love the styling and all the features. Kia has made a great name for themselves. Highly recommended!

I had a little Kia Rios but in Alberta it was too tiny for those BIG trucks. The Kia Soul is a perfect size. Its retro sharp looking and I have not had a single problem with it. The sun roof is great and so is the hand free blue tooth. I can't say I have any complaint except I don't need to drive it often so it sits and collects dust all week :(

Bought used in 2013 - great car - even on long trips. With the back seats down it has a ton of room. High recommend.

The Soul is a fun car to drive, economical and the heated seats are great! It is peppy & the manual transmission gives you a lot of control. The interior colour is black with the unique Kia Soul pattern on the top of the front seats.

This is our first SUV crossover and we love that we sit a bit higher up, plus the 2.0l engine has no problems with hills or passing at all. The heated seats are awesome especially after a day on the ski hill. There's plenty of room for skis, a bike, or luggage. If you need more you can always buy a box for the top, the roof rails are already in place. The sunroof makes the sunny days even brighter. Plus it's easy to park with the back-up camera! A great vehicle for both the city and the highway!

This little car is great on gas. You can fit a lot of stuff into this car. Easy to park and excellent for U-turns!!

Love design, layout, convenience. 100 inch wheelbase and 17 ft. turning circle make this the easiest car to park other than a SmartCar. Great for ferrying elderly relatives; seating like a kitchen chair; easy in and out. 2.0 liter engine gets very mediocre mileage in stop-start city driving, but OK on highway. Nice sunroof, decent luggage room with seats folded (great for carrying goalie gear). Worst feature: 18-in rims & sport suspension give very unpleasant, jolting ride on Toronto streets. Traded 4u in for a 2u, which has 16in rims and regular suspension; much happier with new car.

The radio 's reception is very bad. Even after taking it in and having the radio replaced under warranty ,it still very bad. It's 2 years old now and I just had a head gasket leak....fixed through warranty. I'm having brake trouble now ...real grabby at slow speeds and noisey.

One year ago, i bought a 2011 Kia Soul 2U Demo to my local Kia Dealer. Fun thing about Kia is that they give you a lot of gadgets for your car, it's fun, useful sometimes and on other occasion it's just a big smoke screen to hide the fact that it's just another regular car.

Plus side:
- Comfortable seating, good vision.
- Unique looking car.
- Reliable machine.

Down side:
-Lack of trunk space if back seats are up.
- about 14 or 15 litres km per 100 KM city and 8 or 9 on the road, very decieving.

No wow factor on this car if you take out the gadgets and design.

love how everything is on the wheel.....easy to set cruise control....the bluetooth phone...switching from disk to radio ....changing stations .....all can be done without taking your eyes off the road.....

The Kia Soul 2U is a fun car to drive, with a unique look. It's compact and easy to maneuver and park in tight spaces. Its performance is average, but the build quality is a bit questionable (within the first year of purchase, the driver side mirror popped out, the pad fell off the break pedal, and one of the car keys snapped in half). I wish the trunk had a bit more room for storage. Other than that, for the price we paid I can't complain.

The Kia Soul, in my humble opinion is a great car. So far it has served us well in terms of reliability, fuel economy and value for the dollar.

Great styling and interior comfort give it a 5 star rating for me as I am 6 foot 4inches tall and have tons of head room, something not often found in a small car like this.

Overall my wife and I are exceptionally pleased and would recommend this car for those who want more SOUL in their life...

I like the look of the car and how it handles. The problem with it is it breaks down alot. Good on gas but not great.

This is one of the best cars I've had to drive me life, I feel safe with this car and the fuel economy is noticed when do I have to do a lot of driving. I love this car and I would not trade it for the world.

Most excellent little sporty/cute care...love the houndstooth seat detail...power windows/mirrors/heated seats sunroof bluetooth...speakers that light up to the beat all stock.....LOVE IT

We've had our Soul for about two years now and it has never let us down. It's a great little car with a lot of room on the inside, way more than you'd think. We got a 4 cylinder and it would be nicer with a bit more power. It's great on gas!

This car gives the room of an SUV without the price tag. Overall, we like the vehicle and would consider getting one again. Fun to drive the standard and like lights on inside of doors. Fuel efficiency not what we expected, but still better than the truck we were driving! Not a super amount of room in the back once kids get taller. Not a lot of leg room for carrying 4 people. Wouldn't be able to put 3 car seats inside.

Just like the title says, it's far tougher then I had expected.

i went from a Jeep to this car and still go everywhere that I went with my Jeep (that's legal). :)
