Honda Civic 1976-2017Change

Bought this car 3 years ago and so far has been solid. No major problems or repairs other than normal maintenance (oil changes. Had to replace shocks at around 80,000 km due to ride deterioration, would have liked to have them last longer. Other than that, has been not had any other problems. Fuel economy is very good, power is adequate.

Good bang for the buck. Good on gas. Styling not the greatest but fun to drive, especially manual transmission. Better than later models when Honda decided to cut corners. Newer civics seem poorly built and very noisy.

I like it, it is used 13 year old Honda civic and i love it. It is not stylish but it has good fuel economy and its reliability is out of this world.

The car has good performance and reliability however not much included in the basic model. Everything is extra. Other brands offer much much more into their basic package.

This Honda civic has been very reliable, and has never let me down. It has been through all seasons, and is still running strong!

I have own that car for 8 years now and have had no problem with it at all it still feel like a new car.

i bought this honda in 2010 and really like it the only thing that i would change would be the fuel economy its still a bit high for the price.

This car offers a reliable smooth ride with no worries concerning mileage or extra repairs. Road noise exists, but that's no different from any car in this one's reasonable price range.

It terms of bang for your buck, this civic as is good of a deals as it gets. Great feul economy, easy handlind, and very reliable. Love this car.

Me and my husband has been using this car for 4 years. We go out of town for hours, short trips, and daily activities that we go to. This car never gave us a problem! It is very stylish and comfortable inside! It gives both of us the space that we need and to top it all, with all these features, it is very economical! With a wife like me, I always focus on how much it would cost us on gas and maintenance. And by far, it has never failed us! What a great ride!

Great car. Handles really well, and good acceleration. I've had no issues with it. only downside is that the blind spots are harder to check.

I have owned 3 Honda accords in my life time 2001, 206 and 2012.
these are the best cars in the world for fuel economy upwards of 50 to the gallon. The Accord does not have any transmission problems or major engine problems. the parts are cheap. This is a great car for the price and reliability.

this car is great for getting around the city. Cheap on gas and is very reliable car. I have been servicing this car through honda for the past 10 years and no surprise fixes that aren't covered under the the manufacturer's warranty. The maintenance schedule is set and no other surprises. I will definately buy another honda in the near future, once this car dies.

I leased to buy a 1998 Honda Civic as a 40th birthday gift to myself. It was a fantastic little car: excellent gas mileage, no engine problems, handled and accelerated beautifully. Was very easy to park; had substantial legroom in the front and back, and had ample trunk space. The resale value on this car was also very high. Wonderful car. I would recommend it to anyone.

We recently purchased this car about a month ago and it has been great. It is really quite good on gas, it has a smooth ride and looks really stylish as well. Overall, I am happy with the car so far. We actually found the dealer listing through the autoTrader website!

This is my 3rd Honda Civic and as always the reliability of Honda far exceeds all other car makes. It has modern comforts and amazing gas mileage which is very important with today's gas prices. Will definitely be looking to Honda for my next car.

We bought this car as second hand and never realised it would be like a family member. its 3 yrs now and with bare minimum maintenance and in our difficulties times, the car gives us the best mileage and never turns us down.

I have owned this car for 9 years and put 430,000 km on it. It is still very fuel efficient and runs well. However I have had to put large amount of money into suspension and engine work over the years.

It's a pretty nice car. Good acceleration, but a bit tall for people 6' +. The fuel economy is nice. The transmission is one of the first things to go, but it lasted a long time.

My wife bought a Honda Civic to get her to work. When we got married and I (FINALLY) got my license, I became the primary driver. Such a smooth ride.

Reliable, inexpensive to run, with a well designed body which does not age. Good acceleration, solid, firm drive on the highway.

Look after the car with regular oil changes, if using synthetic oil and a good filter you can extend the oil changes to 10,000 miles, or 15,000 kilometers.

Remember oil changes used to be every 5,000 miles, and then suddenly 5,000 kilometers! It is not necessary to change your oil that often, engines have improved, and synthetic oil is far superior to regular oil.

When buying a used Honda make sure that the Timing Belt has been replaced recently, as per the manufacturers recommendations. Should the belt break after extended use, you will probably require a new engine, and that bargain price that you found, is suddenly going to cost an additional $3,000 plus.

You can count on the honda civic. It is very reliable and fuel efficient. I once needed to replace the front and easily found the part needed at a really cheap price. It rides smoothly and performance wise I am very satisfied. I wish I took more options back then but even so the basic features do the work. If I had to buy another car that would a more recent model of the civic.

I really enjoy driving the civic, the 5 speed manual is smooth with short throws and the fuel economy is great. The styling is nice and simple on the outside. I like the digital speedometer speedometer which makes it easy to see how fast i'm going at a glance. The steering wheel is small which makes turning feel quicker if somewhat finicky on long cruises. Overall great little car.

its a really nice car , really cheap on gas, its really a nice car for looks quite simply put, the ideal commuter and city car. The engine is reasonably smooth and peppy. Very low road noise with Goodyear Affinity Triple-treads. Steering is nicely weighted for city driving. Ride quality is sportier than it's American counterparts, and build quailty is far and above the class leader. 5 adults will fit if needed. Sunroof and power gizmos abound. Repairs are infrequent and cheap. this is the 1st car that i dont complain about ,
