2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Trim: Base
by John7405 on 12-29-2016
It's been a fun car.
Had always wanted a Crusier and have really enjoyed it. Trips to family in Washington and California have been fun and comfortable. I have had many compliments on the cool paint job.
I really liked the high seat position for good vision.

A great all round and fun car
Bought 7.5 years old with 75000km.
Daily driver rain or shine for 2.5 years. Reliable.
Comfortable, fast enough for Vancouver roads, reasonable handling and good brakes.
Genuine four seater.
Styling is so much better than today's cars and it is fun to drive.

You have to see it
A unique car. Ride is beautiful, powerful and it's a head-turner. Heated leather seats with power adjust are to die for. Warm on a snowy day and with the top down it's perfect in the summer.

Great car for starter in business and/or for family
A great vehicle with the rear seats that not only fold down, but fold up second time up against the front seats making a large trunk space for hauling furniture, and stuff.
Reason for this sale is that my wife has stopped driving.
Only 110,000+ plus K/m's meaning many more years of comfortable long or short trip driving left in this vehicle.

2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

would never buy one
we inherited our pt with 92,000 km and did some general maintenance ie brakes ,tires and a windshield then drove it for a week only to have the transmission fail, we replaced the transmission completely only to have the same problem then spent far too much money with diagnostics only to find out that the computer was behind all the problems. It then decided to blow the front main seal and the water pump all being very expensive to repair !! in the end this is a poorly built car and i am amazed auto manufactures can do some of the things they do.

Great car!
I have had a lot of fun with this convertible. Would love to keep it but need to downsize to one car only! A great car for someone to own!

It's a Van/ Truck/ Car
bought it in 2010and only had to change oil and spark plugs since i bought it. It run smooth always starts in the winter don't really like the exterior styling but everything else about this car is great spacious inside nice for long trips the 2.4 litre engine gives it enough to pass on hi way

It's ok
More bought it because of the looks, doesn't run well. Always needs something fixed on it. Have to let it run for like mins on cold mornings

Good for small-scale city transport
It certainly isn't stylish in most cases, and performance is modest at best, but it's fairly roomy despite its size and fuel economy is just right.
