BMW 3 Series 1969-2017Change

Having had bmw's for over 10 years and a few Japanese vehicles, the f30 335 is an amazing value for the money. It has better performance than my 2002 m3, amazing handling, practicality, great fuel consumption, very we built and superior safety. It's just a joy to drive day in day out and very dependable!

The 328xi E92 is, and will always be, a terrific car. It's sleek, elegant, comfortable, and has the grunt of a 3.0L i6 under the hood to power it.
The engine and drive-train are, however, also its biggest drawback. The N/A i6 is good, but doesn't have the top-end power to accelerate from speed. It runs out of breath pretty quickly. The fault lies with the restricted airflow and, once you open the hood, you can understand why (there is NO room around the engine. Very cramped).

All that can be forgiven because of the comfort it offers. Little issues with things like the seat belt passers (coupe only) and stupid sliding covers in the back that constantly vibrate and buzz are tiny nuisances to pay. The AWD system is not top-noch like those offered by Mitsubishi, Subaru, or Audi, but it is good enough to make you feel secure on the road in bad conditions.

Fuel economy with a 3L i6 + AWD isn't the best. And this car encourages more aggressive driving habits. But, if you wanted to save gas, you'd have bought a Miata. It's only real flaw is that it's a typical German car: pricier repair bills (nowhere near as high as Audi or Benz though, thank god). Even changing the oil is annoying.
You have to fill it with premium 91+ octane gas, which is a given for a performance-oriented car.


All in all, it's an amazing car and also comes with the badge bonus of owning a BMW... Not bad.
If you want to pick up one of these in good condition and with good mileage, expect to pay close to $20,000 - More if it's been hit with upgrades - and it's worth every penny.

This is not for you if you want a reliable economical car.

All in the car is driving oriented, if you are a fan of street driving without overspending, this is for you, you can feel good driving without the need to be over the speed limit.

This can be good track car from time to time if you are the kind of guy.

You should prepare yourself to spend on maintenance, this is a performance car, so you need some knowledge to DIY, or big pocket to live with this car.

If you want an M3 and you cannot afford it, than this might be just the right one for you ;)

This car has been amazing since the day I purchased it. Lot's of people at afraid an assume that Maintenance on the car is expensive. This car will only go to a shop for regular Maintenance or changing breaks, tires and oil. I had some minor parts to replace but the parts where very cheap.
Some people will take their domestic cars 2 to 3 times a year to the shop, while I only take my car once a year when I only need to change the oil.
Car is also very strong when it comes to Safety.
My average gas consumption has been 7.5 L/100 kilometers.

I wanted an all wheel drive car that was a must, a four door was required by the job I do, but I wanted something with some horse power and that I could enjoy driving. This car made a driver out of me. The weight is balanced 50% to the front and 50% to the back, the dual turbos set you back in the sport seats that wrap around you. Very little roll in corners and with the 19" summer wheels, the factory rear spoiler and tinted rear windows, this car is a real head turner. I have enjoyed every minute owning this car and probably babied it a little too much.

people get out of your way when they see you coming, and think twice about cutting you off! The X-Drive combined with the Dynamic Traction Control option offer superior safety and agility on snow and ice, even without snow tires. Solely winter driven, and I've never felt safer and more secure in the city and on the highway.

This car is so under rated for what it is. Amazingly quick 4 door sedan for the money. And fuel economy on the highway is amazing. Loved driving this car every minute. As all BMW's it is higher on maintenance but the driving pleasure is well worth it.

The ultimate ride, after owning many BMW models and Mercedes this is the nicest most comfortable sports car anyone can want. Never any major issues, excellent service from the local dealer and would definately own a BMW again.

This car is great on performance, great on car to drive and easy to drive. Always had fun driving it.

I've had my E36 for 6 years now and have had nothing but a blast. As with any other old car, rust is it's worst enemy. I've noticed the same rust patterns on every one I've seen (fenders, rockers..). Otherwise, the engine is a tank and is a powerful yet small 2.8 RWD - 6 cyl. The Interior is simple and has everything you would get in any newer cars today. Exterior looks sporty while also looking fancy, which BMW has always had figured out. I'd recommend this car to anyone.

Excellent vehicle for toting kids/dogs. Superbly reliable. With top rated winter tires, can get through deep snow with Xdrive. Heated seats and steering keep you toasty. NAV, Bluetooth, everything you need. BMW cup holders aren't super well placed but minor issue. Super handling and BMW breaking can't be beaten.

Excellent car for the city or highway. Great pick up and reasonable city fuel performance. AWD means you feel very comfortable regardless of conditions, even though the car is smallish. Add top rated winter tires and this vehicle can make it though just about anything. I have never gotten stuck even though our street is the last to be plower in the city! Lots of room for groceries, kids and dogs.

This is an amazing car. Very quick and responsive to steering input. Comfortable ride yet very stable when cornering and lane changes. Interior is clean and seats are very comfortable.
Great sound system with auxiliary input for smart phone or MP3 player.

BMW is a driving experience! You will never appreciate a BMW until you drive one. The gearbox feels great. The handling is phenomenal.

This is by far the best car I have ever owned, with world class comfort, reliability and performance. No other car can allow you to sit in air conditioned comfort, with groceries in the back and still enjoy a sporty ride since this car does it all.
BMW's in line, non turbo six has the reliability of a rock, with amazingly good fuel efficiency.
Best value for the money on the market

The experince with this car has been amazing. The only reason i am selling is because i am planning to buy a house. The car is robust, also amazing in winter and great fuel consumption.

From shifting to steering, compared to modern sports cars, i feel much more in control and connected to the road. Visibility is great. This car has just enough 'old school' without sacrificing being thoroughly modern.
Its very engaging and enjoyable every time i drive it. I feel completely in control.

With so much to offer in this 2003 BMW 325XI. Everything you want in a vehicle for performance and looks is right at your finger tips. It is an exhilarating experience.

You can truly drive this car any way you like. A casual day of normal driving or a day of hard handling. True to a Performance car , BMW Steering , Braking and handling are second to none.
It has a timeless design that will always look fresh and fast even standing still.
You will never be disappointed.

Truly Addictive drive because of bmw's amazing handling. And the 20" Zenik Mag rims make this an extra special car for the right person.

I love this car... the handling is just as it was when I bought it ...leaks a bit of oil but not a problem...don't even have to top it up..if you were 20 years old you'd leak a bit of oil too!

all part for bmw is not cheap.

so when you buy bmw, either you have deep pocket or you could follow Youtube do DIY for it.

This is the best car I have ever owned! It has good gas mileage, great performance and handles incredibly. It has never once been in the shop and the feeling you get every time you start it up is amazing. I recommend this car to anyone looking for a great price and value.
