CHANGES FOR 2014:
- New SE sport appearance package offered.
The Focus continues on relatively unchanged for 2014. The only addition is a new sport appearance package offered on SE trimmed models.
The Focus can be had with two engine and four transmission options:
- 2.0L Ti-VCT GDI I-4 with 160 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque and the choice of either a 5-speed manual, 6-speed Powershift dual-clutch automatic, or 6-speed Powershift dual-clutch automatic with SelectShift manual control.
- 2.0 GTDI EcoBoost I-4 (turbocharged) with 252 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission (ST only)
Two body styles are offered - sedan and hatchback - with the ST only available as a hatchback. The ST also benefits from variable ratio electric power steering, bigger brakes, and sport suspension. The normal Focus uses a Control Blade rear suspension and common MacPherson strut front suspension.
Trims as sedan include S, SE, and Titanium; and as hatch include SE, Titanium, and ST.
In S trim, features include 2.0L Ti-VCT GDI I-4 engine, 5-speed manual transmission, front disc and rear drum brakes with ABS, 15-inch steel wheels, cloth seating, 4-way driver/2-way passenger manual adjustable seats, single piece folding rear seat, manual climate control, air filtration, 4-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 with auxiliary input, full-floor center console with storage, power locks, tilt/telescopic steering, power front windows with driver one-touch down, black door handles/grille/rocker moldings/power mirrors, integrated blind spot mirrors, quad-beam headlights, rear window defroster, Easy Fuel Capless fuel filler, airbags (front, front seat side, driver knee, curtain), LATCH, AdvanceTrac stability control, and tire pressure monitoring system.
SE trim adds 16-inch steel wheels, 4-way adjustable headrests, 6 speakers and speed sensitive volume, SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system with MyFord Driver Connect, power front and rear windows with driver one-touch down, rear 12V power outlet, cruise control, floor console armrest, front floor mats, illuminated entry, Ford MyKey, front driver and passenger seat rear pocket, body colour door handles/power mirrors, automatic quad-beam headlights, and fog lights with chrome surronds. Hatchback in SE trim adds removable rear package tray, rear windshield wiper, and rear spoiler.
Titanium trim adds 6-speed PowerShift dual-clutch automatic transmission with SelectShift (5-speed manual is an option), engine block heater, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, 60/40 split rear folding seat, dual automatic climate control, 10-speaker Sony audio system with subwoofer, SYNC with MyFord Touch, satellite radio, intelligent access with push button start, leather wrapped steering wheel, illuminated vanity mirrors, power front and rear windows with one-touch up and down, overhead console, front and rear floor mats, front map lights, ambient lighting, universal garage door opener, piano black grille, black headlight surrounds, fog lights with piano black surrounds and chrome accents, rear spoiler, chrome beltline molding, reverse sensing system, rear view camera, and anti-theft perimeter alarm.
ST trim adds 2.0 GTDI EcoBoost I-4 engine, 6-speed manual transmission, sport suspension, 18-inch Y-spoke aluminum wheels, full-size spare tire, leather Recaro bucket seats with ST logo, manual climate control (automatic dual-zone climate control is an option), 6-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary jack and speed sensitive volume (10-speaker Sony audio is an option), SYNC (basic, MyFord Touch is an option), unique ST grille, body colour rocker moldings, HID automatic headlights with LED accents, unique ST fog lights; deletes ambient lighting, universal garage door opener, chrome beltline molding, reverse sensing system, and rear view camera.
