Model Overview
The Subaru BRZ sports coupe may be a lot less powerful than the WRX, but it might be more fun, thanks to a ground-hugging shape and rear-wheel drive layout that contribute to fantastic handling. Yes, this is Subaru's only car without AWD. Straight-line power is limited, but the BRZ looks fast standing still, and you'll barely have to slow down for turns. Travel light and don't bother with the back seats.

On certain vehicles, the rear turn signals may not work if a bright light (such as bright sunlight) shines directly on them.
Safety Risk:
Turn signals that don't work properly may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. Hazard lights that don't work could make the vehicle less visible. Both could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Subaru will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace both rear combination lamp assemblies.

Certain vehicles equipped with a built-in navigation system may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS 111) - Mirrors and Rear Visibility Systems. A software issue could prevent the centre display screen from turning on properly when the vehicle is started. If this occurs, the rearview image may not be displayed when the vehicle is put in reverse, which could reduce a driver’s rear visibility. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the head unit software.
