Not reliable

Got used in 2008. During my trip to Calgary on May 8th 2013 the connection rod made a hole in the engine. Oil leaked from the engine and caused fire in the engine compartment and under the car. The odometer reading was 82243 when this happened.
Last service was done in Februaly 2013. Replaced all break pads, changed oil, filter.

Comfortable, easy to drive

this car is easy to drive, very reliable, its comfortable, and can fit car seats perfectly fine if you have kids, you can adjust the height of driver seat, which i think is neat, its good on gas a great car, im trying to go to newfoundland so and i need to get some fast cash, since shipping a car is crazy in my opinion, and the drive is gonna be about 8 days, Id rather fly :) i felt this was my best option.

Best value for money

I have driven this car without any problem! Japanese made with sleek interior design. The power of 4x4 is evident. I found that the car feels very safe due to its design and handles very well.
Mechanically its more sturdy than honda CRV and Hyundai Tuscon, which I owned while driving Grand Vitara. There is a clear distinction.

2003 Suzuki Aerio

Good Ride for the money

I had this car for 5 years now (bought used), and it's still going strong without any major rapairs. The fuel economy is not top notch but I'm sure it could get better if the engine is maintained properly (I don't really have the time for). It has a unique look that no one will mistake for another make, also really resistant to rust.

The interior design is average, you hear a lot of the engine when driving, but the seats have good comfort for long rides. There is alot of head and leg room, so there is no problem if you are really tall. Also I have the hatchback version, and there is a lot of cargo room.

Great Car

This was the first standard car i have ever owned and have never run into any problems with it. it was really easy to learn because it was a lighter vehicle with few blind spots. this vehicle is good on gas which, as a student is always a good thing.

2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara

Such a reliable car

When I bought the Suzuki grand vitara I liked its shape, so unique, different from others. It is very low maintenance, however one need to be diligent on regular checkups. I like that it has the four wheel drive feature which I use a lot during the winter months when there is lots of snow. It is a saver when it comes to gas consumption. There is lots of leg room.
