2008 Honda Pilot

This Pilot has been awesome for our family. We are the original owners of this vehicle. It provides extra seating in the back to take extra passengers with comfort; when taking kids to Soccer it is a must! Trips were quiet with the Entertainment system and the wireless headphones were a bonus. Leather seats made it easy to keep clean. Especially in our winters the safety feature of 4WD ensured the safety for my family and gave me peace of mind.
You cannot go wrong with Confidence in Honda's reliability and consistent track record.

2006 Honda Pilot

My reliable, family "all-in-one" vehicle.

This Pilot has been awesome for our family. I am the original owner. It carried 3 car seats and extra seating in the back to take extra passengers with comfort. Long trips were quiet with the Entertainment system. Leather seats made it easy to keep clean. There was no question of whether or not to pack extra stuff, because there is SO much room. We could just Take-and-go. in the winter I have had the safety feature of 4WD to ensure safety for my family. I have only serviced it at Honda, which gave me a peace of mind about safety for my family. It was just serviced again on May 9th. I have kept all records, so you know exactly what has been done.

2013 Honda Pilot

I love this truck

Having compromised with a Honda CR-V EX-L for the last 3 years I was so happy to make the shift up to the Pilot. The ride quality and space are awesome, the fuel economy is about 1-2l/100km worse than the CR-V but on the motorway it does 10l/100km without any effort at 110km/hr. The kids love the Rear Entertainment System and although it has a cost for this option I now think it was totally worth it vs using portable DVD/iPad players. The 2013 Pilot is a solid truck, great family vehicle and has the standard Honda benefits of high residual and reliability. I love my Honda Pilot !

2008 Honda Pilot

Boring but Dependable!

There is nothing exciting about the Pilot. The leather interior is plain. The interior is all the same colour with no accents. The exterior is a box with again zero style which for some is what they would like.
Now that being stated the Pilot is a Honda. It works and is very dependable. We have 138,000km and never a worry. No problem with three kids in the back seat as there is plenty of space.
It does suffer tremendous understeer on snow covered roads so winter tires are a must! (i am a firm believer in winters anyway)

safe, reliable, comfortable, high quality

hard to beat Honda quality, I would buy another one again, perfect safe family vehicle, very low care needed, great in the snow, dvd system is awesome, huge sunroof, rides high on the road so provides excellent visibility.

2009 Honda Pilot

Love this Pilot

This was replacement for a minivan, it has been perfect for us.
We are now looking to g down in size and will be looking at another Honda product
Nice smooth ride, perfect in the winter, safe and comfortable.
The 3rd row is very comfortable which is the main reason we went with the Pilot, now a full size SUV but feels like it, without the extra gas.
Never a problem.

2004 Honda Pilot

Reliable SUV until it gets old

This SUV has been a great addition to our cars. It is large enough for 8 passengers. Great for vacations or sports trips. Problem: Honda recalled the gear system and we did not receive the recall. When it broke, it cost us over $2500 to fix and Honda refused to cover it under recall. Now that car is older, it is needing more repairs, but overall, it has been a great car.

2006 Honda Pilot

Pros and Cons

We purchased our 2006 used, through a dealer. We had a new baby on the way and a toddler already, and figured the extra space would be useful. Well, what we didn't really figure out until later was that, with two car seats fastened into the second row, there's no way to get to the third row...ie you can't pop up the second row seat to get into the third row.
But that being said, we still liked the spaciousness, the room in the cargo area with the third row folded down, ease of entry, etc.
There is ALOT of cabin noise...this is NOT a quiet ride. I'm not sure if that issue has been addressed in newer models or not.
Fuel economy isn't great, but isn't terrible...we get about 22 mpg.

My Experience

I went to Niagre Falls with my Brother in law and his wife for the week end and i had so much room so did my luggage. i feel asleep on the way there and back because the ride was so smooth i couldn't believe it thanks for making a great car.

So spacious

I find the Honda Pilot has a good look and doesn't look big but the storage space inside is huge and can fit 7 people. Same storage space and capacity to hold the same number of people like a van but looks trendier.
