If you are the type that likes comfort and safety, this is the toy you need. No doubt this is a steal at this price. Words alone can't express all the features and benefits to be derived from this car but I bet you'd always be happy. Smooth ride.

I just love this Explorer, with its V8 power but comfortable heated leather seats I hate to sell it although I did upgrade! This vehicle has had minimal problems ranging from replacing brake rotors to a speed sensor. Mechanics have consistently told me they are surprised how good of shape it is in for the amount of km's and age.

Never had a problem with it or let me down, drives excellent and smooth. Comes Safety and E-tested, low kms, love the Suv but its time for something a bit smaller.

I purchased this car, used, in 2004. I have never needed a tow truck. It always started even in the coldest weather as soon as I turned the key. It has plenty of room for a family of four and a dog as well as gear to go camping. During heavy snowfalls, I am at the next set of lights while the cars are still spinning their tires at the starting point, even in two wheel drive. The traction is unbelieveable.
The only downside to this vehicle is they could've coated the side steps and rear bumper, as they are rusting more than what the body is doing. The main body looks great except for above the windshield, where I have two to three spots of rust as where the rest of the body except for age, looks like it came from the showroom.
Except for normal wear and tear, this vehicle has not given me any problems or cost me any money to repair. I replace oil every 5000km. Exhaust is stainless steel and will last the lifetime of the vehicle. It passes emissions with flying colours.

love the car haven't had many problems for 10 years however the gas is awful costs a lot and doesn't last long

I traded my car for my explorer because I have 3 dogs and loads of children and needed something bigger to haul them all with me. I have enough room to put my dog kennels in the back seat and my children in the middle seat and still have room for other things. I very much enjoy the feel of it when I drive. It's a larger vehicle without being too overwhelming!!! Love, love, love it!!!

I bought this car used in 08. The comfort and design and shape of this SUV is amazing, especially the seats, extremely comfy and lots of leg room. Those are basically all the pros. Now to the cons, there are quite a few including fuel economy, which is pretty high and giving not much power in this car. When you go uphill, you can feel it slowing down due to a powerless engine. The reliability is pretty good, not much problems the 5 years I had it. Overall a good family car, but not a good car for everyday working.

Great SUV, lots of room, reliable, and very comforting. The only real problem is the blind spots are kind of big, but the blind spot mirrors make up for it.

it is fantastic for highway driving performance and feul economy. (Hwy only) hardly any problems alternator changed, rod changed and regular tune up oil change and tires rotated. all kms are hwy ms it is in great shape an ndrives like new.
