2008 Ford Escape for Sale

I've owned my Escape for a year and a half now and still love it! Such a peppy vehicle, and very easy to park and maneuver.
I love the exterior look of the escape, square and small, not too feminine nor masculine, great look and I'm disappointed that they changed it so drastically.
I feel that the interior dash could be a bit better, however it is easy to use and practical.
This vehicle is amazing in the winter, you feel like you can take on anything!
Fuel economy is fine, I drive the V6 model so not great but no bad, I would definiately buy it again.
The only complaint I would have is that it is a bit noisy on the highway, however I do love my escape and would buy another!

I Had Chrysler'S & they had expensive transmission problems.
Had GM'S and they had a lot of electrical problems
In fact, CTS Caddie lease had to be paid out early to get out of all the electrical & computer problems that GM refused to fix.

So I went to Ford ...picked the Escape with V6 4WD drive train
because the plow service on the roads in Markham stink !
Still driving this SUV today (2013) & still totally safisfied with it.
Drives great in winter - very agile, maneuverability is great.
4WD is the only way to be driving in Ontario in winter time
as they never plow roads I use to before rush hour.

Never had an accident & I attribute that to this vehicles excellent all round visibility, antilock brakes & a great 4 wheel drive traction & stability control that leaves other cars behind.
Get this vehicle if you want to feel safe driving in winter.

NEVER USED THE 3 YEAR BUMPER TO BUMPER !!!!!
WARRANTY AS IT WAS NOT NECESSARY !
AND THAT SAYS IT ALL !!!!!!!!!
BEAT THAT ONE !

This SUV has and been great. Love the ride and looks of it. Has never let me down and still has lots of pep.

I have never had any trouble with this vehicle at any time.
It's gutsy when it needs to be and reliable to a fault!!

So sorry to have to see it go, someone is going to be lucky to get this one!

I bought the '08 Escape in the summer of '07 and it's still running strong almost 6 years later. In that time the maintenance and repair costs have been less than $5000.... that's including 4 new tires, all the minor maintenance upkeep costs, as well as new front brakes (pads & rotors). On average I can get 8-9L/100Km on the highway and around 12L/100Km in the city. Gets even better when towing, which it does comfortably on a regular basis. Plenty of cargo room even with a child seat installed. I'd recommend the Escape to anyone looking for a light SUV.

Vehicle has been phenominal
Just a few small issues.
leaky rear hatch glass ( new weatherstrip )
very roomy interior , AWD awesome in snow.
3.0L V6 has plenty of pep.
the biggest complaint is updating the factory navigation system. You have to buy a disc for the upgrade ( $200.00 )

I love my Escape. It has really done me no wrong! It's a great winter vehicle-- handles very nicely even when it is snowy and icy. If I wasn't thinking of starting a family, we would get another.

Ive had this SUV for 2 years now. Aside from normal wear and tear it is fantastic. Very roomy. It is great in the winter time for driving with good snow tires. I enjoy the way it feels.

Not a bad car, tough on gas. and abs parts break often. but i like the ride. The wipers are custom and only available at the dealer which is a pain, you cant just got to walmart and buy replacement wipers when you need them

i have a 2008 ford escap hybrid front wheel drive
should of been better on fuel i'm avraging 9 to 10 liter per 100km should be around 7/100km or 27mpg
roomy reliable not good on the hwy made for in town were you drive more then one hour in stop and go traffick trafick must roll slow if accelerate to fast on take off hybrid dont work hybrid only works up to 55km should of been 75km reviw was saying that it woud give you the fuel consuption of a car
a realy big car not made to tow i would not recomand a tow hitch on this plus batterys are in the back under the cargo area were you would find the spaire tire
