New & Used Daewoo for Sale

Bought this car new. Sold it last year after 12 years of use and 150K KM. It was a very reliable car, needing practically only basic maintenance. In those 12 years I only needed to repair the A/C twice. Once for a broken valve, and once to rewind the AC motor. Besides that only a broken hose or 2 and a radiator leak. Everything else was replaced after the according KM and no problems.

Although Daewoo has one of the worst reputations in the car industry, this expectation has been proven wrong by our surviving Nubira. After 305,000 kilometers in just 7 years this car is still going strong.

Rarely is any maintenance needed. No oil or water checks for this 'newer' car.

Quite quick for what it is, our 16V 2.0L does the 0-100Km in 10 seconds, faster than our Impreza RS! Has no trouble getting to 180km/hr. The sedan is quite lighter then the station wagon that we own, and I can only imagine it would be even faster.

Not super fuel efficient for a 2.0L, about 10L/100km. Still better than most cars out there. When it was first purchased we were getting 800km out of the tank.

Lots of space and storage makes this car amazingly useful and perfect for a family with drivers who want some fun too. However the inside really lets the car down with classic 'Korean' looks. Seats are a little hard.

Handling isn't all that amazing as you would expect, however I believe the sedan is much more impressive as speeding round a corner can lead to the heavy back end of our station wagon losing grip.

Overall this car has proved to be a brilliant purchase, and since buying it new we have only been pleasantly surprised by its quality.

this care is a fair ride cheap on gas goes very fast i loved it for traveling whit went to Manitoba from sudbury ontario . 26 hour drive and it was comfortable cheap coast 120$ on gas, entire time wen driving there it was a blast lol hard on the but its a cute car just the part are expensive the dealer cheap only made so many of them so they are rare and getting harder to find soon to be a classic lol

It was a great car for in city driving, and for country roads too! I was camping with it, and it took all the gear without any complaints! :)

I have 240K on this car and it keeps going. An incredible amount of interior room makes it comfortable to drive and able to carry most everything. It wins no awards on acceleration or cornering, but the good gas mileage more than makes up for it. I just drove a new Kia rental, which gets high ratings for a subcompact, and although it's much more sophisticated I'd still be hard pressed to pick it over the old Daewoo.
