Very smooth and comfortable ride. Very roomy and lots of cargo space. Comfortable reclining seats. heated front seats, command start. console shift, beautiful interior woodgrain dash, leather seats.

In most areas it is a very good SUV ,but it needs 2 things for Canadian snowbirds ,an easy to read mile per hour speedometer & a compass on the models with navigation,
all it has is a N for north.

I have a 2011 Regal Turbo and the first thing that grabbed me about this car was the styling. I think it is one of the best-looking designs on the road. Interior design is good but not quite up to the standard set by the exterior. Room inside could be better given the size of the car, as it is a bit tight especially in the rear seat. Seats are a bit firm and not the usual Buick armchairs.

I drove both the 2.4 and the Turbo and had to have the Turbo. I found the base engine a bit underpowered but the Turbo transforms the car. The automatic transmission works OK but it has an annoying tendency to pause for a second when almost coming to a stop and then wanting to accelerate. The chassis gives excellent handling without the roll of Buicks of old, at the expense of a bit of smoothness, but it is a tradeoff I like.

I have had a few issues in 18 months of ownershio. The center console creaks annoyingly, and a couple of times the car has seemingly lost its turbo boost, although a restart solves that. On cold startup the engine seems to sound like a diesel; I understand this is a characteristic of direct-injection engines. There is an annoying buzz from the headliner sometimes also. The dealer service department is useless and unable to resolve any of these so far.

Aside from the subpar dealer experience I like the car a lot. It is expensive though and I don't know if it is the best value. But if you fall for good looks sometimes you have to pay for that.

Bought this SUV in April 2012 and it came with one year warranty on engine for $1,000. My SUV is 8 years old and it drives like it is new. It handles the road excellent and you can view everything while driving. I have own Blazers and Jimmys in the past and then switch to a van to assist family members. One member in wheel chair. Later years switch SUV. I am very happy with the Rendezvous. I research the vehicle before buying this one. During the research there were some reviews that were not good. I figure since it is 8 years old, the kinks were work out by the time I came along. It was a good thing that I had a warranty on the engine as the trouble started in August. The temperature light came on and the temperature gage was moving to the red zone and back to the safe zone. I had the thermostat replace. With in a few weeks the same thing happen again. Had it bled again encase they did not get all the air out from the first time. It work for one month and it happen all over again. Intake gasket was leaking so it was replace. A few days later the same thing again but this time the service engine light appeared after the temperature light went out. Right now, the head gasket is being replace as it was leaking. Sent head out to get checked over and they found two holes. The man is going to weld the holes and then return head to garage to re-install head with new gasket. I am hoping this will solve the problem.
The reviews had mention this issue but since my vehicle was 8 years old this problem would have been resolved by now. The people that gave their reviews own their vehicle for 2 to 4 years when they had these issues.

Thank god for the one year warranty for $1,000. This warranty paid $582.00 for Intake Gasket, I paid $113.00. I have not gotten the bill for the head gasket job. There is only around $418.00 that the warranty company will pay and I will have to make up the rest. Wish me luck!

Truly the best car that I owned. Originally custom ordered by my mother who loved to drive this car. Economical and reliable car. Great performance from the 3.8 V6 fuel injected engine and 4 speed automatic transmission.

Really enjoyed owning this car, its spacious but not a boat, it has incredible trunk space, new winters studded ready for next year, the engine is supercharged, it has the get-up-and-go for when you need it to, does call for premium gas, i used premium gas, the sunroof is a great bonus, makes it brighter inside the car. I had a touch-screen stereo-nav-bluetooth system installed just before christmas with 4 new speakers... Lost my license so theres no point in sitting on a valuable car when i have two children to care for.

i love this car nice family car/suv great highway mileage. would buy this car again kids loved it. the tucked away engine a little inconvenient for minor repairs otherwise no issues

this car is awesome on gas, comfortable, reliable, and i would recommend anyone to buy one. I bought a used one and had it in to be safe-tied and it passed with flying colors, the only thing that i would say that i don't like is that is rusts fast around the wheels.

My husband and I bought this car 2nd. hand, and you'd never know it. It was in pristine condition. We have traveled to other provinces and never had a problem. My husband says: if you take care of a great car you will always have a great car. He's right, I don't think we could've purchased a better car.

Honestly, this car is a MUST for anybody needing a car with the safety and comfort of a larger vehicle.
