Selling my baby. Location is Langley. Our kids (3 boys) are too big to fit now and its time to move to something bigger. - Labelled as a rebuilt, BUT it was only body damage in its first year of inception and I have been the only owner since with NO issues related to that. - 1 owner (2 if you include my wife) since 2005 - 4 cycl TURBO 250hp with rare Automatic tranny with only 157,000 kms, which for a 2004, is great. - Tires have been done in the last few years and have lots of life still - Clean clean clean - AWD, great in snow, does better than some bigger vehicles - Power sunroof - Momo leather wrapped steering wheel - Amazing wrap around heated front bucket seats with tonnes of support - 60/40 folding back seats - Power windows & locks - 6 pack Subaru CD player and sound system (I know CD's, but probably easy to change out) - Roof rack (Subaru not aftermarket) - Rubber hatch liner - Rear step plate Positives: 1. My wife has been the main driver for the last few years as she drives a bit further to work. 2. Very well taken care of and mostly dealer serviced with all records. 3. 250 hp AWD Auto 4. Handles amazing (like your on rails) 5. Such a great rare car Perfect? Mostly, but it is a used car still and I want to be as upfront as possible.1. Engine has been replaced (by Subaru) and tranny rebuilt over the years (POSITIVE: this new engine only has about 70,000kms on it and the tranny still has also most 1 year left on a transferable warranty). I can explain if you need to know why, but needless to say, the few times I took it to a non-dealer for oil changes messed it up. 2. Needs the usual regularly scheduled maintenance (next service is at 160,000kms and will include front brake pads). 3. There is a strange whoomping sound when you go around a corner at highway speeds. The dealership has cleared the tires and have indicated it could be one of 2 things, but they won't be able to tell until it gets worst (then they can rule one out, most likely a bearing). They have said that there is no issues with driving it and is completely safe, just a bit annoying if not listening to music.4. Still has the usual minor dings and scrapes of a used car (you can see some of the minor stuff in the pictures). Recap: Awesome car in great shape with technically only 70,000km on the engine and a handful of KMs on the tranny. I love it and am sorry to see it go but it's time as the kids are growing bigger.
