This car will treat you well for many years to come if you continue to take care of it. Why? It’s a single owner car that has been driven by a man who drives like an old lady. Most of the kilometres were highway driving also. In case you don’t know, the Pontiac Vibe has the Toyota Matrix engine. Phil Edmonton who wrote the Lemon Aid Guide to Cars gave it and Above Average rating. It is cheap on gas, corners well and is super easy to park. When deciding to purchase this car new, I went with the Vibe over Matrix because more features were available for the same price. It also has 4 Star Rollover Resistance Rating if you’re looking for safety. When you take a look at the interior of this car you won’t believe it is from 2005. I’ve had seat covers on the front seat since it was a baby. The back hatchback has some scratches on the plastic from putting a bike on the inside. The back seats fold 60/40 split completely flat which means 2 people can camp in the car comfortably. The passenger driver seat folds flat also. This Vibe also has the 115V power inverter and fog lights.I have an extra set of rims and plastic rim covers. The car is currently running Hankook Optimo 4S All Weather tires which meet BC requirements for a snow tire. (Personally, I think they are better than my former tires, the Nokian WRG2.) Want to fully kit it out for life in the mountains? I have a roof rack, Thule Ski box, and 2 bike racks available for an extra $600.
